I very much enjoy portraiture and try to define the essence of my sitters In their portraits - I am a figurative painter as far as portraits are concerned and I like them to be definitive and dramatic. Most of my portrait work comes from actual sittings, not photographs, as I find my subject is more natural and relaxed that way.
